mojito criollo

Straight out of the Caribbean, the sweet taste of sugar loaf (Papelón) and Rum Ron Añejo Carúpano Reserva 6 Especial combine to give a Creole touch to the classic peppermint and lemon mojito.

Ingredients

• 2 oz. Ron Añejo Carúpano Reserva 6 Especial
• Peppermint
• Papelón (sugar loaf)
• Lemon
• Soda

PREPARATION

In a highball glass, add peppermint, lemon and granulated sugar loaf. With a mortar, press the peppermint leaves, without breaking them, about 4 or 5 times. Add ice and add 2 oz. Of Ron Añejo Carúpano Reserva 6 Especial. Complete with soda and stir in an upwards motion with a bar spoon. Highball glass
